Exceeding current environmental requirements, CCS Engineered Landfills provide superior environmental protection through a combination of efficient landfill designs and ongoing management practices.
Proven design elements feature a multi-layer containment barrier consisting of an engineered clay liner and a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) liner. CCS Engineered Landfill systems also handle in-cell leachate collection, removal and disposal, ground water monitoring and surface run-on and run-off controls.
CCS/HAZCO also has contractual agreements with six municipalities to market and operate provincially-approved and regulated landfill facilities.
