Hopper Unload
CCS has designed a safe and efficient means of offloading waste at all of its treatment, recovery and disposal (TRD) facilities. The key to this efficiency is the hopper-unload system which ensures fast unloading of waste material and no truck waiting time. Incorporated into a sealed, lined and heated receiving pad, the waste hopper is the main collection point for all incoming waste. Able to accept up to three trucks at a time, the system slurry's the material in a receiving chamber and then immediately transfers the waste into the main GCS processing unit.
Handling Sour Fluids
Sour fluid is no problem at CCS facilities. All hopper unload systems are constructed with a separate sour sealed off loading feature. This compliments the odor control system found through all CCS treatment, recovery and disposal facilities. The tanks also feature a positive pressure gas blanket which prevents the venting of sour gas and odors to atmosphere.
